Aerial Survey of Industrial Complex

Hyderabad, Telangana

Project Overview

Comprehensive aerial mapping of a 500-acre industrial zone for infrastructure planning and development assessment.

The Challenge

The client needed accurate topographic data and orthomosaics of a large industrial zone with multiple existing structures, active operations, and restricted airspace zones. Traditional ground surveys would have taken months and caused significant operational disruption.

Our Solution

We deployed our fleet of DJI Phantom 4 RTK drones equipped with high-resolution cameras to conduct systematic aerial surveys. Our team planned flight paths to avoid restricted zones and minimize disruption to ongoing operations. We used ground control points (GCPs) for enhanced accuracy.

Key Results

Generated high-resolution orthomosaic maps with 2cm/pixel accuracy

Created detailed Digital Elevation Models (DEM) for the entire zone

Identified 15 potential sites for new industrial units

Reduced survey time from 4 months to 3 weeks

Cost savings of approximately 60% compared to traditional methods

The precision and speed of the aerial survey exceeded our expectations. The data quality has been instrumental in our planning process.
